Description:
SCC Waxwrap 80A and 60A is a petroleum based, wax compound, impregnated into a non-woven synthetic carrier that provides long term corrosion protection to aboveground metal structures. Waxwrap 80A and 60A has been specifically formulated to protect against corrosion in extreme environments without any clay fillers and change of consistency.  Wax is inert and does not degrade over time, therefore making it ideal for corrosion protection for long term protection. A major advantage of SCC Waxwrap A80 is its’ ease of application along with its pliability in cold weather.

Providing the metal structure is prepared properly and SCC wax wrap is correctly applied, the wrap could protect the structure from external corrosion indefinitely, given that the wrap is not damaged by external forces. Even after applied, SCC Waxwraps can be repositioned.
