Description:
SCC Wax Wrap 80A is a petroleum based, wax compound that is impregnated into a non-woven synthetic carrier that provides long term corrosion protection to aboveground metal structures. 80A Wax Wrap has been specifically formulated to protect against corrosion in extreme environments without the use of clay fillers or primer dissolving solvents. Wax is inert and does not degrade over time which makes it ideal for long-term corrosion protection. Another advantage of SCC Waxwrap 80A is its’ ease of application along with its pliability in cold weather without the excessive dripping in warmer tropical climates.

When the substrate is prepared properly and the SCC wax wrap is correctly applied, it could protect from external corrosion indefinitely; given that the wrap is not damaged by external forces while exposed. Even after being applied, SCC Wax Wraps can be repositioned which also makes Inspections a breeze.
