SCC 80U and 60U Belowground Wax Wrap is a petroleum-based compound, impregnated into a non-woven synthetic carrier, that provides long term corrosion protection to belowground metal structures in many industrial and infrastructure industries. Wax is inert and does not degrade over time, which makes it ideal for it’s use in protection against corrosion.
A unique advantage of the SCC Belowground Wax Wrap is its 3rd Party tested, ZERO Cathodic Disbondment, Avg permeability rate of 0.00024 and Exceptional Dielectric Strength. In application you will notice an ease, no smells, and it staying pliable in cold weather without the excess dripping in hot weather.
Providing the metal structure is prepared properly and SCC Wax Wrap is correctly applied after Primeguard priming paste, you can expect it to protect from external corrosion for many years and extend the life of each asset it protects.
